Founded in 2025 by Craig and Caroline, we embarked on this journey after experiencing a series of life-changing moments that opened our eyes to the beauty of simplicity and the joy of creativity. From our cozy premises in Auckland, we have created a space we lovingly call The Knit Room, where the magic of design comes to life, alongside our Office and Photo Studio.

Aoraki uses premium materials, ensuring warmth, style and comfort.  Our beanies and scarves are made with the finest yarns sourced from New Zealand and around the globe. Each yarn is carefully chosen for its softness, durability, and natural insulation properties.

As a knitwear experienced designer and manufacture with twenty years plus experience, Caroline understands the importance of quality and good design even for something as simple as a beanie or scarf ...there's no such thing as 'bad weather, only inappropriate clothing, to wit, wear an Aoraki beanie and look good where-ever whatever the weather.  That's why we hand-make each piece with precision and care.

Our small team of subcontractors and suppliers are skilled artisans brings years of experience and expertise to every step, resulting in products that are not only fashionable but also long-lasting.  We know that sending pieces all points of the globe domains extra card and attention to details..
