Welcome to Sam’s world. From his home in the seaside town of Bluesky, Sam spends a surprising amount of his time observing the curious behaviour of the humans around him. Their habits can be funny, illogical, ill-advised and, occasionally, just plain stupid.

Fortunately, Sam is a cat, so he is well qualified to pass judgement.

Between neighbourhood adventures, encounters with friends and the occasional deep sigh of resignation, Sam’s Diary records life as he sees it. And when the weather turns cold, naturally, Sam expects his humans at Aoraki to make sure he is appropriately dressed.
