Limited Liability

Aoraki Clothing Limited (ACL) does not accept liability for any loss or damages caused by this website, or any website linked to this website.
ACL reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time giving fair reason (e.g. not for personal use, technical error, fraudulent activity etc).
We will make all reasonable effort to contact the purchaser on the details provided with the order and all monies received will be refunded using the original payment method.

Pricing Policy

At ACL we love to offer our great products at great prices.  ACLs services and products are unique but, our pricing structure is comparable and competitive against retail pricing when applied to our products and services when it was first introduced.  It is our reference price for you to compare price savings.  As our sale prices can change from time to time, this means when a sale ends, the price may revert to another sale price as opposed to the original full price.  We always stipulate the savings on all sales from our original full retail price.  This means the full retail price might not be the price that was offered before the current sale price.  Products may also have been on sale for longer than the period at the previous price.  
 
A crossed out price is the original full price.  It may not be the price offered immediately before the reduced price as previous markdowns may have applied.  Markdown prices may continue for longer than the previous price.

Currency Used and Local Tax

The nominated currency used for all transactions on our website is New Zealand Dollars unless stated otherwise. State or other country taxes properly applicable are not included in the sale price and are to be added wherever required by law.

Dispatch of Orders

Orders are normally dispatched within 3 business days of Order Confirmation, subject to all ordered items being in stock. If any items cannot be fulfilled from your order we will contact you via email and offer an alternative solution or a refund.

Acceptance of goods

On receiving the order the customer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault or damage. Should the items ordered not be of acceptable quality, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify ACL, as soon as possible.  Please see our Returns & Exchanges Policy below for more information.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
HOW DO I RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PRODUCT PURCHASED ONLINE?
For every online purchase (except masks, bespoke products and socks) you have 30 days to exchange or return your product. For your Christmas gift bought in November or early December, you can contact us until January 15 the following year. Please do not hesitate to contact ACL via hello@aorakiclothing.com should you have any questions or concerns about your product. 
 
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BE REFUNDED ?
Once ACL receives your product back, it takes between 10 to 14 days to be refunded. You will be refunded on the credit card used for the purchase. Your shipping costs will be excluded unless the item is faulty or cancelled under the Consumer Code.
 
ARE THE RETURN EXPENSES CHARGED BACK TO THE CLIENT?
 The return shipping expenses will not be charged, except customs duties and taxes if relevant. In case we send you back a new piece, shipping will be free of charge as well.
To be reimbursed you must return the product new, unworn and in its original packaging.

Typographical Errors

In the event that an item(s) is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, ACL reserves the right to withdraw that item(s) from sale, and to refuse or cancel orders. ACL will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received. 

User Generated Content

If we would like to use your content in any ACL digital properties, we will contact you on the relevant Third Party Platform to ask for your consent to use your content.  Once you have given your consent to us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as the terms of use of any relevant Third Party Platform.

You must respond directly to us within the same chat, thread or by private message in order to release the agreed Content to us. If we do not receive your response within seven days from the date we contacted you, we will assume that you do not consent to our use of your Content and your Content will not be used by us in any ACL media.

Payment Options

Web Site purchases can be either paid for with a credit/debit card or with the redemption of an Aoraki Gift card*  or IFT cards.
ACL Gift Cards are available for purchase on aorakiclothing.com in a digital form (emailed to the recipient on order) or physical form (posted to a delivery address as specified).
For security purposes our maximum Gift Card value to purchase online is NZD175. If you wish to purchase a higher amount please contact us at hello@aorakiclothing.com.
Gift Cards are treated by ACL as a financial instrument for payment for goods and services and operate on a deposit/withdrawal system as per industry standard practices.
This means that ACL Gift Cards are provided as a free service to customers and do not contribute toward the calculation of shipping costs or discounts. 
ACL Cards are not considered as goods or services with a retail price and therefore:
They do not include GST, VAT or any sales, State or Government taxes whatsoever;
  • They cannot be discounted and are not subject to any discounts
  • ACL Gift Cards are valid for three years from the date of purchase, which is noted by an expiry date on the card.
ACL cannot accept cancellations on Gift Cards once payment has been processed.  Gift Cards are not refundable (in part or in full amount paid) or redeemable for cash.
